This is what it's like when worlds collide...

According to reports in the Spanish Press, Jose Mourinho may attempt to force out Real Madrid sporting director Zinedine Zidane at the end of the season.

The French legend returned to the Bernabeu as an advisor to incoming president Florentino Perez three years ago.

Months after his appointment, Mourinho requested that the former Juventus Midfielder be involved with first team affairs.

However, since then Zidane's appointment as sporting director has not worked out to Mourinho's liking and when Mourinho doesn't like something, we know what happens...

The self-proclaimed 'Special One' is reported to have the support of Real President, Perez.

The Spanish Team sacked general manager Jorge Valdano after the 56-year-old's relationship with Mourinho deteriorated - could Zidane be in line for a similar fate?
