Van
Persie Deal Agreed
Manchester United
have announced that they have agreed on a deal of around £24 million
for Netherlands striker Robin Van Persie. The deal will be completed
if they can agree on personal terms and if he passes a medical test
later this week.
Last week it seemed
that Van Persie would stay at his beloved Club Arsenal and was
encouraged by their new signings of Lukas Podolski, Olivier Giroud
and Santi Cazorla.
However, Wenger had
other ideas and told Van Persie on Sunday that if a deal can be
agreed on then he would be sold.
