Transfer Rumors: Tevez, Lampard, Morrison & Johnson

The Independent reports that Carlos Tevez is still hopeful that his move to AC Milan will be completed. Negotiations have broken down due to the £21m price tag attached to the player. The collapse in discussions could lead to renewed interest from rivals Inter Milan.

Tevez future still 'uncertain'

The Sun believes Andre Villas-Boas would like to bring Eden Hazard to Stamford Bridge during the January transfer window. French side Lille are believed to only listen to offers of £33m or above but the Blues feel a £25m bid could seal the deal.

Frank Lampard has been told he is not for sale after interest from Manchester United. The Daily Mail reports that the 33 year old remains an important part of Chelsea’s plans, even though he is no longer a certain starter.

De Rossi set to swap Rome for Manchester?

De Rossi on the move?

Manchester City are closing in on Italian International Daniele de Rossi, who could become their first major signing of the January transfer window.

It is widely understood throughout the Football World that Manchester City will be looking to
cover the position of absentee Yaya Toure who will travel to the African Nations Cup with the Ivory Coast and could possibly be away until February.

Rossi is regarded by Roma fans as 'Capitan Futuro' which translates as 'Future Captain'. However, the 28 year old is out of contract in the summer and could leave for a fraction of the fee of his overall value.

The move could nevertheless be dependent on the Carlos Tevez situation. Tevez has not featured for Manchester City since September after a row erupted with his Manager during a Champions League encounter against Bayern Munich and reports suggest the Argintine front man may shortly  join AC Milan.
