Transfer Rumors: Tevez, Lampard, Morrison & Johnson



The Independent reports that Carlos Tevez is still hopeful that his move to AC Milan will be completed. Negotiations have broken down due to the £21m price tag attached to the player. The collapse in discussions could lead to renewed interest from rivals Inter Milan.

Tevez future still 'uncertain' 

The Sun believes Andre Villas-Boas would like to bring Eden Hazard to Stamford Bridge during the January transfer window. French side Lille are believed to only listen to offers of £33m or above but the Blues feel a £25m bid could seal the deal. 


Frank Lampard has been told he is not for sale after interest from Manchester United. The Daily Mail reports that the 33 year old remains an important part of Chelsea’s plans, even though he is no longer a certain starter.

Newcastle United are still in the hunt for Manchester United wonder-kid Ravel Morrison. According to The Independent, Newcastle will return with an improved bid after their £500,000 offer was rejected.

Blackburn will meet Fulham's evaluation of Striker Andy Johnson with a £2m bid. The former England Striker had been expected to join QPR but Johnson    could head North instead according to The Daily Mail
