Merseyside derby... In London?

Tottenham Hotspur and Everton saw off Bolton and Sunderland respectively on Tuesday night to earn FA Cup semi-final derbies at Wembley against City rivals Chelsea and Liverpool.

Everton cruised past Sunderland with a goal from Striker Nikitca Jelavic before David Vaughan put the ball in his own net. The Blues won 2-0 in at the Stadium of Light with a stunning performance to tee-up an historic fixture at Wembley. The Merseyside Teams had not met at this stage in the Cup since 1989.

Meanwhile in London, Tottenham saw off Bolton Wanderers with a 3-1 win. The previous game had been abandoned after Fabrice Muamba suffered a cardiac arrest during the game.

Spurs scored three late goals, the first from New Zealand international Ryan Nelsen on 74 minutes, Gareth Bale struck two minutes later to extend his side's lead. However, Bolton were handed a lifeline when Kevin Davies found the net.

During a frantic finish, Louis Saha scored the host's third goal in injury time to send them through - they will now face Chelsea at Wembley in April.
